THE ALLEGORY OF THE CAVE
3 week build - an art installation for Sam Zell's birthday party in Cinespace, Chicago, IL.
Fall 2014, in a team varying from 3 - 5 people at a time, we gathered 30,000 books to build a labyrinth to depict Plato's Allegory of the Cave.
My responsibilities were to
Create the concept drawings
Gathering the materials (books, 2x4 wood, nail guns & other tools
Building the cave structure
It was an installation piece that stood for 48 hours for a private event.
